About ForgePoint

Built by a Contractor. Proven in a Real Operating Business.

ForgePoint helps contractors and local service-company owners improve profit, strengthen operations, and reduce the amount of the business that still depends on them personally.

The work is grounded in lived operating experience—not theory from outside the trades.

Meet Elijah Langhorne

Contractor. Operator. Consultant.

Elijah Langhorne is a U.S. Air Force veteran and the founder of ForgePoint Consulting. He built and scaled an electrical and contracting company, growing revenue by 275% in under 10 months while learning firsthand what happens when demand grows faster than pricing, systems, and leadership capacity.

That company went on to earn national recognition through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the FedEx Founders Fund—proof that disciplined improvement inside a contracting business can produce results visible beyond the local market.

That experience shaped ForgePoint’s work with contractors and local service companies, including electricians, plumbers, HVAC contractors, window cleaners, pressure-washing companies, and residential cleaning businesses.

Elijah holds an MBA, has a background in organizational leadership, and is FRAP-certified. His approach is direct and implementation-focused: diagnose the constraint, improve the economics, and build the operating structure required to sustain the result.

Faithful Stewardship

Business is a responsibility. Decisions should honor people, resources, commitments, and the work entrusted to us.

Excellence in Execution

Clear numbers, clear ownership, clean systems, and completed work—not vague advice or endless theory.

Build Beyond the Owner

A healthy company should create profit, opportunity, and impact without requiring the owner to carry everything personally.

From Service to Ownership

Elijah’s leadership foundation began in the U.S. Air Force Security Forces career field, where responsibility, discipline, and decision-making under pressure were part of the job.

After military service, he carried those lessons into business ownership. Like many contractors, he started by doing the work, solving every problem, making every decision, and carrying the company through his own effort.

The business grew—but too much of it still depended on him personally.

That tension became the turning point. Instead of trying to outwork the problem, Elijah began rebuilding the company around stronger pricing, better customer economics, clearer priorities, visible accountability, and repeatable systems.

The result was not just more revenue. It was a stronger business with less constant owner involvement.

Why ForgePoint Exists

Most contractors do not lack effort. They lack a business structure capable of carrying growth without pulling the owner deeper into every decision.

ForgePoint exists to help owners improve the two engines that determine whether growth creates leverage or more chaos:

The Profit Engine—Frequency, Referrals, Average Ticket, and Pricing.

The Operating Engine—scorecards, priorities, ownership, accountability, systems, and leadership rhythm.

The goal is not growth for its own sake. The goal is a company that produces stronger profit, executes more consistently, and depends less on the owner’s constant presence.

We implement from the ground up.
